SAG Awards 2023, gli Oscar si avvicinano: tutte le nomination

Sono state annunciate le nomination degli SAG Awards 2023, principalmente guidate dalle pellicole The Banshees of Inisherin ed Everything Everywhere All at Once, come già accaduto per i Golden Globes, dove però ha trionfato Steven Spielberg con The Fabelmans. I due film hanno ottenuto cinque nomination ciascuno, eguagliando il record per il maggior numero di nomination precedentemente custodito da Shakespeare in Love (1998), Chicago (2002) e Doubt (2008).

Entrambe le pellicole sopracitate sono in lizza per il premio al miglior cast di un film, considerato il più alto riconoscimento dei premi dell’associazione degli attori. Si sfideranno contro il nuovo film di Damien Chazelle Babylon, la storia semi-autobiografica di Steven Spielberg The Fabelmans e la visione di Sarah Polley sull’aggressione sessuale in una comunità religiosa Women Talking. I SAG Awards sono un importante punto di riferimento per i Premi Oscar, fornendo chiarezza sui veri favoriti durante una stagione di premi traboccante di validi contendenti.

Quest’anno i SAG Awards hanno trovato una nuova casa. Lo show andrà in onda sul canale YouTube di Netflix, per poi passare direttamente sullo streamer nel 2024. La cerimonia di premiazione si svolgerà domenica 26 febbraio al Fairmont Century Plaza di Los Angeles.
