Il ritorno di Zack Snyder al genere zombie lo vede alle prese con un cast di scheletri nella nuova immagine dal set di Amry of the Dead.

Army of the Dead, Zack Snyder circondato da morti nella nuova foto dal set

Zack Snyder ritornerà presto al genere zombie con il nuovo titolo per Netflix Army of the Dead ed è proprio lui che ha condiviso sul web un’immagine dal nuovo set. Impegnato con la sua macchina da presa, Snyder è colto nella foto mentre dirige il set circondato da macabri scheletri.

Army of the Dead è ambientato durante un’epidemia zombie a Las Vegas e vede un uomo che mette insieme un gruppo di mercenari per irrompere nella zona di quarantena e mettere in atto “la più grande rapina di tutti i tempi.” Sneyder ha co-sceneggiato il film insieme a Shay Hatten ed è anche produttore insieme a sua moglie, Wesley Coller, Ori Marmur e Andrew Norman.

Nel cast di Army of Dead vedremo Dave Bautista (Guardiani della Galassia), Ella Purnell (Kick-Ass 2), Omari Hardwick (Power, Kick-Ass), Theo Rossi (Luke Cage), Ana De La Reguera (Narcos), Huma Qureshi (Il palazzo dei viceré), Hiroyuki Sanada (Avengers: Endgame, Westworld), Chris D’Elia (You, Undateable) Garret Dillahunt (Fear the Walking Dead, Deadwood), Raúl Castillo (Seven Seconds, Looking), Nora Arnezeder (Mozart in the Jungle, Origin), Matthias Schweighöfer (You Are Wanted, The Most Beautiful Day), Samantha Win (Arrow, Wonder Woman) e Rich Cetrone (300, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice).

Si tratta del primo film di Zack Snyder dopo Justice League, da cui si è allontanato per una tragedia familiare, e segna anche il suo ritorno al genere zombie dopo L’arba dei morti viventi.
