Fred Willard: Steve Carell, Hollywood e i fan omaggiano la leggenda

Poco fa abbiamo riportato la triste notizia della morte di un attore comico dal talento straordinario, Fred Willard

Fred Willard se n’è andato all’età di 86 anni nella sua casa, come ha spiegato la figlia in un post nel quale ha detto che suo padre mancherà moltissimo a tutti, per sempre. Ed è proprio così, tanto che, appena appresa la notizia, Steve Carell (che ha lavorato con l’attore recentemente che interpretava il ruolo di suo padre), gli insider di Hollywood e i fan non sono riusciti a non inviare un pensiero al leggendario comico, per onorarne la memoria e il lascito. Qui di seguito riportiamo non solo la nota scritta dall’agente di Willard – che ha diffuso la notizia della scomparsa – ma anche i post di Carell e dei molti che hanno voluto lasciare un pensiero per l’attore:

Fred è stato uno degli attori comici più indaffarati di Hollywood in una carriera durata oltre 50 anni. Ha recentemente recitato nel suo ruolo ricorrente per il quale è stato nominato agli Emmy in Modern Family, e può essere visto anche nel ruolo del padre di Steve Carrell nella serie Space Force di Netflix. Jimmy Kimmel faceva recitare Fred nel suo show in media ogni due settimane facendogli fare piccole apparizioni, fino all’inizio del lockdown. Fred ha davvero apprezzato ogni ruolo e ha dato ad ogni performance il suo tocco speciale. Era davvero un genio della commedia.
