GLAAD Media Awards 2024: le nomination dei premi dedicati all’inclusività

L’organizzazione GLAAD ha svelato le nomination per la 35esima edizione dei GLAAD Media Awards, i premi annuali assegnati dalla Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation dal 1990 alle persone e alle produzioni per il loro contribuito nel dare un’immagine più veritiera e accurata della comunità LGBTQIA+.

Una lista enorme che comprende 310 candidati e 33 categorie, ma di cui noi riportiamo solo i premi che concernano il cinema e il mondo televisivo (per scoprire tutti gli altri nominati, inclusi videogiochi, libri e musica rimandiamo al sito ufficiale). Tra le nomination di quest’anno spiccano Fellow Travellers con Matt Bomer e Jonathan Bailey e The Last of Us con Pedro Pscal e Bella Ramsey. Anche il nome di Beyoncé è presente, grazie al suo ultimo film/documentario/concerto Renaissance: A Film by Beyonce. Nel 2019 la superstar ha accettato il Vanguard Award di GLAAD insieme a Jay-Z. Nelle candidature spicca anche l’Italia con L’immensità di Emanuele Crialese, Monica di Andrea Pallaoro e Nuovo Olimpo di Ferzan Özpetek.

I GLAAD Media Awards 2024 si terranno a Los Angeles al Beverly Hilton il 14 marzo e a New York City, all’Hilton Midtown, l’11 maggio.
