Poco dopo l’uscita della news su un ipotetico coinvolgimento di Joaquin Phoenix nel film standalone sulle origini del Joker, è stato rivelato che anche il veterano regista di Transformers, Michael Bay, è in trattative per dirigere lo standalone di Lobo, film in via di sviluppo da tempo.
Ovviamente i fan hanno espresso le loro opinioni tramite vari social network. Anche se molti di loro non sembrano felici della notizia, tanti altri pensano che Bay sia la scelta perfetta per portare definitivamente, e finalmente, il cinecomic sul grande schermo.
